John DeRosa (OHM Ω) has helped many pilots overcome their fear of soaring avionics wiring. He is a private glider pilot and holds a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in computer science. He has been a glider pilot for 25 or so years and owns an ASW-27B. John is a long-time member of Sky Soaring (http://skysoaring.com), located northwest of Chicago, and is a member of the club’s maintenance board specializing in avionics and other electrical thingies. He is a past president of the ChicagoLand Glider Council (http://chicagolandglidercouncil.com) and is their current secretary, webmaster, and seminar chairman.
