TOPIC: “Building Better Clubs”
Dr. Mark Lenox is the Chief Scientific Officer of a medical imaging company and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He has been a pilot for over 30 years after first learning to fly gliders in the ’80s at Estrella in Arizona. He spent considerable time in Tennessee, flying with the Smoky Mountain Soaring Association, as well as Chilhowee Gliderport. He is currently an active member at the Soaring Club of Houston where he instructs. Although he was solely a glider pilot for many years, he is now also an active fixed-wing power pilot. He is based in College Station, Texas, where he keeps his Discus, Cessna 182, and Citation Mustang.
