TOPIC:  “Dissecting the Sky: Discovering Energy Lines”

Pete Alexander (98) is a soaring pilot and Silicon Valley refugee. Pete began flying in 1975 at Sky Sailing Gliderport in Fremont, CA. His passion has always been cross-country soaring and racing. He was a member of the US team during the 2014 World Gliding Championships at Leszno, Poland (18m Class), and 2015 Pan American Gliding Championships (15m Class). Pete has flown at numerous sites in the Eastern and Western United States, Leszno, Poland, and Omarama, New Zealand. He currently flies an Arcus and ASG-29.
